{fall favs}

I am LOVING all the things this fall! I just wanted to share a couple of my favorites so you can check them out too!

This is one of my all time favorite outfits for Berni right now. For her first birthday party, I did a fall theme since her actual birthday is just a couple of weeks after the official kickoff for fall. It seemed like it would be a time savor to decorate once instead of putting up birthday decorations, taking them down, and then redecorating with fall items. It saved a ton of money also. I used what I had already collected over the past couple of years. There was of course the addition of the hay bales for the backyard and some fresh pumpkins. All in all, it worked out really well!

This shop Mini Prep Boutique is one of our favorite head wrap shops! She designs the cutest wraps that look adorable on Bern. The other girls also love to wear them and are always picking out which ones they want for themselves. She has hair bows and pig tail sets, stretch fabric head wraps, fall and Christmas patterns. So much! I also have a coupon code for y’all to use to get 10% off your order. Use Trista10 for 10% off at checkout! These make really great Christmas gifts too.

When I was searching for an outfit to fit our fall theme for Bern, I came across another etys shop called Freckled and Co.  She has some of the cutest handmade apparel for kids! The huge bonus for me was she went above and beyond and accommodated my last minute purchase to get it to us in time for the big celebration. This high low dress is my new favorite and I am sure it will be her Thanksgiving outfit of choice as well! Leggings and boots complete the outfit making it Bern’s perfect fall outfit!

Have you all been introduced to the amazingness that is Evystree? If you haven’t, your welcome! I have been a customer for the past couple of years and have even made it onto their in real life photos on Instagram. The owner, Amy, has one of the biggest hearts. She is so real and has a heart of gold. The more I get to know the wonderful people that work there, the more I love Evystree. Plus, they are local and I love being able to support local businesses.

The Brandy Coat. What can I say about it except it is ALL KINDS OF AMAZING! It is warm and perfect for colder weather. This Brandy pictured is an older version, but here is a link to the new color. That’s the thing with Evystree. Their items are loved by so many that they can sell out quickly when they release a new item. If you love it, don’t hesitate! I have done that too many times.

The top is also one of Evystree’s newest items, the Evelyn. My sweet husband granted my birthday request and added this to my wardrobe! I am loving it! Definitely the perfect Thanksgiving top!

Evystree also has “skinnies“. I have ones from their spring line in Sangria. I’m eyeing the black ones they have for sale currently. They go with everything. And, they are super comfy. They look like jeans but the fabric is a lightweight denim. I love the color of these but if you prefer a more basic look, check out the light wash and black skinnies they have available right now. And don’t forget, don’t hesitate if you love it!

Can we just talk about the new Hearth & Hand line at Target? Oh my! It’s beautiful! They have some gorgeous Christmas decorations, mugs, napkins, wall art. I love it all! I couldn’t pass up this tote on my most recent trip. I hadn’t bought anything in the line yet and was waiting for the perfect item to do so.

This tote is cotton and leather and I thought it would be great for all of my writing things. My journals, my calendar, all the bits and things I need to keep track of my life.

The last thing I want to share with you of my fall favorites is this little piece of living room. I have slowly been finding my style and collecting items as they go on sale to make this home ours. I recently took my first ever trip to Hobby Lobby. Let’s just say it’s a good thing there is not one close by.

I am loving this sign. This hymn is a favorite to so many and it is a phrase that I have repeated over and over throughout our own journey, knowing that God is in complete control of it all. Seeing this as a daily reminder is what I need.

My favorite thing to diffuse this time of year is of course Thieves oil from Young Living. I have it going so often to keep the germs at bay. The smell of cinnamon that wafts through the air while it’s diffusing makes the room smell like fall. Dual purpose! It smells good AND it combats germs. I will sometimes add orange or peppermint to mix up the scent a little. But it is definitely a must have item in this house.

What are some of the things you are loving this time of year? I would love to hear them below!
